Monetizing a skill

Fuel lists skills so people can find them. Fuel does not process, receive, or hold payments.

  1. 1

    List it for discovery

Publish the skill on Fuel with install notes and a link to the public repo. Leave the price empty to list it as free. To charge per use, set a price in USD and your own https checkout page.

  2. 2

Charge on SkillPay or another checkout

In the listing form, choose SkillPay and paste your SkillPay link, or choose another checkout page. Buyers leave Fuel and pay on that page. Fuel does not take a fee, because the money never passes through Fuel.

  3. 3

    Tips stay optional

Tip links are separate from the per-use price. Add them only if you want them. A curated listing that nobody has claimed does not show a tip button.

Fuel is not affiliated with SkillPay, WorkBuddy, or Alipay. Those are not Fuel products.
